While we are willing to move any furniture that can be safely moved before we get to work, there are a few things you can do to make the job go quicker. If you’ve got a carpet cleaning appointment coming up, here are some things you can do to get ready for our technicians.
Identify any Problem Areas
If you called us about carpet cleaning, chances are you have some specific areas in mind that will need spot treatment. Before your appointment, take a close look at your carpets and identify any pet stains, food and beverage stains, or any other area that will need special attention. That way, when our technicians show up to clean your carpet, you’ll be able to show them exactly where those stains are located and they’ll be able to get right to work.
Remove Anything Breakable
As we already mentioned, our friendly technicians will be happy to move any furniture that needs to be moved before they start cleaning your carpet. Of course, we want to make sure your valuables and breakable items stay safe during your cleaning appointment. That’s why we won’t handle certain items including breakables, valuables, decorative items, lamps, and antiques. Before your appointment, we’d appreciate it if you would take these types of items and remove them from the cleaning area so we can be sure that your prized possessions stay safe.
Remove any Unsafe Furniture
While we will move furniture if necessary, we won’t be able to move anything that can’t be moved safely. That includes especially large or heavy furniture, furniture that’s unstable or could fall apart, or furniture that’s filled with breakable or dangerous items. This may include furniture pieces like china hutches or cabinets, armoires and entertainment centers containing electronic equipment, and heavy metal furniture pieces. If you have any of these types of items in your cleaning area, we would appreciate it if you would find a way to get them out of the room before we show up so that our technicians can do their jobs safely and to your satisfaction.
